5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to analyze site traffic and improve your experience. These may include:

Essential cookies required for site functionality

Analytics cookies (e.g., Google Analytics) to understand how visitors use our site

You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect site functionality.

6. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for the duration of your active relationship with us. Because many of our users maintain dormant accounts for future use, we do not automatically delete data upon the end of a subscription. However, to ensure we do not hold data indefinitely, we will delete or anonymize your account data after 7 years of continuous inactivity, unless a shorter period is required by law or requested by you.
Notwithstanding the above, in accordance with IRS and other US tax obligations, we retain all financial and transaction records (such as invoices and payment history) for 7 years from the date of the transaction. This data will be securely archived, excluded from all other processing, and will not be used for marketing or profiling purposes.
Please note that canceling a paid subscription is not the same as a request for data deletion.
-
Subscription Cancellation: When you cancel a subscription, we retain your account data (such as course progress in Thinkific or message history in Slack) so that you may reactivate your services in the future.
-
Data Deletion: To permanently remove your personal data, you must submit a formal deletion request to support@aiforeditors.com. Upon receipt of this notification, we will delete or anonymize your account data within 30 days.
